RRBs on Monday, February 22 conduct the NTPC CBT-1 exam for Phase 4 at designated centers. After holding the computer-based test in multiple shifts an analysis of the shift 1 & 2 is being provided.

Railway Exam Centre Report- Students holding discussion after the exam

Railway Recruitment Boards on behalf of Indian Railways conducting the NTPC CBT 1 Computer-based test for phase 4 exam will release the official Answer key. In continuation in holding the online exam as per schedule, Railway Recruitment Boards on February 22, Monday conducts the examination for Non-technical popular categories posts (RRB CEN 01/2019) in two shifts i.e Morning session and Afternoon session.

According to the reports, Indian Railways after a gap of 4 days on February 22 conducted the NTPC Phase 4 exam (CBT 1) at designated centers across the country. The examination is reportedly conducted following social distancing and other Covid19 guidelines. Candidates were seen wearing a face mask/cover inside the examination center. Candidates were seen adhering guidelines laid by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Indian Railways through the Call Letters.

As the examination NTPC 1st shift examination is over, the candidates can go through the paper analysis, review, and other modalities being provided with the help of experts after each shift of the computer based examination.

"Today's Morning shift examination was 'moderate' in level. Though the section of General Knowledge was comparatively difficult to the last few shifts. Mathematics was easy, Reasoning also was not much difficult to answer", a student said after the first shift examination.

Based on the reviews provided by the students who took the examination a review of the computer-based test is being provided here. As many as 100 multiple choice-based questions were asked from the General Awareness, Reasoning, and Mathematics. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer, to be marked by a candidate in 1st stage computer-based test. 

A total of 40 questions were asked from the General Awareness section followed by 30 questions each from Mathematics and Reasoning sections respectively. Candidates were given a total of 90 minutes (1 & 1/2 hour) time duration to attempt the Computer-based test.
