The Railway Recruitment Board, Chennai is organizing on behalf of the Indian Railways, the Computer-based test for Non-Technical Popular Categories' posts for Phase 2, scheduled between 16 to 30 January 2021. On Friday, January 22nd RRBs successfully organized NTPC online exam in the first shift held between 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Ahead of the publication of the official Answer key, an analysis of the first shift examination is hereby shared. Candidates who appear or set to appear for the NTPC computer-based exam have a look at the question paper analysis and review.
Official Answer key of NPTC CBT 1 exam is expected to be released after the examination is over. After the NTPC Computer Based examination is over, RRBs are expected to display provisional and final Answer key with response sheets and intimation regarding raising challenges. After the NTPC CBT 1 examination is over, candidates who appeared for the first shift examination (held on January 22, 2021) have briefed on the exam ingredients.
According to a report, the examination on 22 January 2021 is conducted following the social-distancing and other safety guidelines at the centres. As many as 1 lakh candidates were to appear for the shift 1 examination in a contest to the 35,281 Graduate and Undergraduate vacancies in participating RRBs.
According to the reviews of the candidates, the first shift online exam was of moderate level. As many as 100 questions were given to answer in the exam. The level of the questions from Mathematics and GK sections was moderate, a student said after the examination. A detailed analysis of Friday held Morning shift paper is as follows-
RRB NTPC 22 January 1st Shift Paper Analysis:
As many as 100 multiple-choice based questions are asked in the Computer-based examination, Stage 1. The time duration of 90 minutes or 1 Hour & 30 Minutes, allocated to candidates to answer the 100 Multiple choice based questions.
Quantitative Aptitude: As many as 30 questions in Objective type format were asked from Quantitative Aptitude or Mathematics. The questions from the sections including Number system, Mensuration, Time and Distance, BODMAS, Train-Speed, Data Interpretation, Geometry, Simple and Compound Interest were in multiple numbers, according to report 5 to 6 questions were from Data.
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Questions from Puzzle, Coding-Decoding, Non-Verbal reasoning, Sitting arrangements, Image, Calendar etc are asked in 1st shift Online Computer-based examination.
General Awareness: As many as 40 questions were asked from the General Awareness section. Questions from Current affairs, National and International events, followed by static GK, Defence Exercises, International Organizations, Full Form, etc. were asked in shift 1 examination.
