The Railway Recruitment Board, Chennai along with other boards organize CEN 01/2019 NTPC 2nd Phase Computer-based examination on 17th January. The examination for RRB NTPC (Phase 2) 2nd day is organized in two successive shifts at designated centres across the country. Candidates who appear or about to appear for the Railways Non-Technical Popular Categories online exam have a look at the Unofficial answer key, paper analysis and a review of the Morning and Afternoon sessions.
According to the report, the NTPC Day 2 examination on 17th January has been over at 12 noon. As many as 100 multiple choice-based objective type questions were asked in CBT 1. The exam was held following the covid tackling guidelines issued by the Indian Railways and Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. Students were allowed only wearing face mask, carrying their personal hand sanitizers and transparent water bottle with Admit card and Identity card with a recent photograph pasted on it.
RRBs conduct the 2nd phase examination for the 2nd day on 17th January 2021. NTPC 2nd phase examination is scheduled with an aim to shortlist candidates for the 2nd Stage exam. The examination is scheduled to be held from 16th January 2020 to 30th January 2020. RRB Chennai has rolled-out key instructions to the applicants going to take NTPC Phase 2 examinations.
Based on the students' reactions after the examination, the first shift examination was easy compared to the exam held on Friday, January 16. The questions from Mathematics and Reasoning section were of moderate level. Questions from the General Knowledge section were of easy level, with more weightage to History and Geography. "Questions from Economics and Polity were there but a few said a student after the examination.
In Science, more weightage was seen given to Biology and Chemistry. As many as 4 questions from the Computer and It's Applications were there, the student said after the examination.
Reasoning & General Intelligence: The section contained a total 30 multiple choice based questions. Puzzle, Coding-Decoding, Non-Verbal reasoning was asked in the majority in NTPC January 17, 1st shift examination.
General Awareness: As many as 40 questions were asked from the General Awareness section. Questions from Current affairs, National and International events, followed by static GK, Defence Exercises, International Organizations, Full Form, etc. were asked in shift 1 examination.

Quantitative Aptitude: 30 questions in Objective type format were asked including of more than 3 questions were asked from the Number system, Mensuration, Time, and Distance, 3 Questions from BODMAS, Train-Speed, Data Interpretation, Geometry, Simple and Compound Interest.
