RRB NTPC 30 Dec 2nd Shift Analysis: Paper Easy to Moderate, Good Attempt, Difficulty level Explained

Railway Recruitment Boards has conducted 2nd shift paper of RRB NTPC Exam held on December 30, 2020. The overall difficulty level of the Afternoon shift was easy to Moderate, as experts say. Analysis of the same along with asked questions is given below.

RRBs successfully conduct the NTPC Computer Based Exam for the 2nd shift on Wednesday, December 30. The Phase 1 computer based test or CBT 1 held for over 1 lakh candidates in Afternoon shift, at exam centres across the country. According to the reports 30th December 2nd shift examination was easy to moderate level and students who have attempted more than 65 correct Answers shall surely stand a good chance to qualify for the CBT 2.

It is reported that the second shift exam held following the Social-distancing and other safety guidelines. The exam is held for the 3rd successive day after commencing on December 28, 2020. As many as 1 lakh candidates were to appear for the examination.

RRB NTPC CBT question paper consisted of a total of 100 Multiple choice based Objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. There were 40 questions from General Awareness section followed by 30 each of Mathematics and Reasoning. Candidates were given a total of 90 minutes time duration to attempt the Computer based test phase 1.

As per the initial reports received, the question paper was easy to moderate level except 4-5 questions that are termed tricky. Candidates who appeared for the 2nd shift examination on December 30 said that the paper was easy to moderate. Reports also suggested that except a few questions from mathematics and General awareness, the overall difficulty level was moderate. Some even reported that the General Awareness section was a bit easier comparative to Reasoning and Maths.

Experts who have reviewed the questions have shared that for most part, it would be the general intelligence and reasoning paper that would determine whether or not the candidate would qualify. Also, since as many as 1 crore candidates are to appear, the cut off may remain high.
