RRBs on behalf of Indian Railways have successfully organized the RRB NTPC Computer-Based Test under 5th Phase. The examination is reportedly held maintaining social distancing in two shifts i.e Morning and Evening session. The overall difficulty level of the Morning shift paper was "Average" followed by 'Easy' level for the Evening shift paper.
According to the reports, the 21st March morning session exam consisted of Multiple Choice Type questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, and Numerical Aptitude. A total 100 questions were there to be answered by the candidates in a duration of 90 minutes.
On Sunday, the 21st of March RRBs conducted the Phase 5 examination for the 2nd last date. CEN 01/2021 Non-Technical Popular Categories posts computer-based examination is held in two shifts- Morning session from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon for the morning session and 3:30 to 5 pm for Evening shift examination. Candidates who are asked to appear for the NTPC 5th Phase exam have already been issued their call letters through websites of the respective Railway boards.
It is reported that the first shift exam of March 4, 2021, is over with approximately 65 percent attendance. As the examination is over a review of the 1st shift exam is hereby provided.
The candidates coming out of the exam centers have reportedly told that the level of the Saturday held 1st shift paper was 'Moderate'. As many as 100 questions were asked from three sections- General Awareness, Reasoning and General Intelligence, and Mathematics. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer, to be marked by a candidate in CBT 1.
There were 40 questions from the General Awareness section followed by 30 each of Mathematics and Reasoning. Candidates were given a total of 90 minutes time duration to attempt the Computer-based test.
RRB NTPC 21 March, Shift 1, 2 Paper Analysis:
According to a candidate, the overall level of first shift examination is moderate. The level of the multiple-choice based questions from the Mathematics section was moderate to difficult, questions from reasoning were comparatively easy. Questions from the GK section were from different sections including Static GK, Science, Current Affairs, Computer Applications & Full-forms, and comparatively easier to other two sections.
