NEET MDS Counselling 2021 Registration Begins @mcc.nic.in at 2 PM; 1st Round Allotment Result on 27 August

Medical Counselling Committee on Friday, August 20 commences the NEET MDS 2021 counselling registration process. The aspirants who have qualified NEET MDS now can register for the counselling up to August 24.

Medical Counselling Committee on Friday, August 20, 2021, commences the NEET MDS 2021 counselling registration process. The aspirants who have qualified for the entrance test now can register for the NEET MDS counselling till August 24, 12:00 Noon. Along with this, they have to make payment of registration fee which will be available up to11:55 PM on August 24, 2021. The BDS students who had appeared for the NEET MDS 2020 exam and qualified are eligible to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS counselling session on the official site of MCC i.e mcc.nic.in.

For online registration for NEET MDS 2021 Counselling, candidates have to visit the official site mcc.nic.in. Thereafter, they have to click on the NEET MDS 2021 link available on the homepage. Then, enter the login details and fill in the application form. Upon successful entry of credentials, they have to make the payment of application fees. Then a final click on submit will result in the submission of the Counselling application. All the candidates have to download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need. Meantime, for the reference of the candidates, a direct link to apply online for NEET MDS Counselling 2021 is also facilitated that will get enabled at 2:00 pm.

NEET MDS Counselling 2021 Updates:

12:40 PM- NEET MDS Counselling registration for Round 1 will start today from 02:00 PM, statement at official website reads.

According to the counselling schedule, alongside the registration, the choice filling and choice locking process are to commence on Saturday, August 21 and remain open till August 24 up to 11:55 PM. The processing of seat allotment will take place on August 25 and 26, 2021 thereafter, the first round allotment results will be declared on August 27, 2021. 

The candidates whose names appear in the allotment result have to report anytime between August 28, 2021, and September 01, 2021. Upon being named in the seat allotment results, candidates will have to undergo document verification and submit the fee. Failing to do so, one will allow their seat to be open for the next round.

After Counselling Round 1 ends, fresh registrations for Round- 2 will kickstart. The registration facility for Round 2 will be available from September 06, to 09, 2021. The allotment results of 2nd round will be out on September 13. It should be noted that already registered candidates of Round- 1 and free exit candidates need not register again. NEET MDS 2021 Seats & Reservation:

There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1 & Round 2, MopUp Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by MCC. 

Mop-up Round: The Mop-up Round (3rd round) will be conducted online for the Deemed and Central Universities as MCC has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting counselling of their 100% seats.

Stray Vacancy Round: The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which the list of registered Candidates for the Stray Vacancy round will be forwarded by the MCC.

NEET MDS Counseling 50% All India Quota Seats: All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET PG conducted by NBE including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from website nbe.edu.in.

There will be 2 rounds of AIQ online counselling i.e. Round 1 and Round 2. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET PG except the UT of J&K will be eligible.

Reservation Policy of the Central Government for the NEET-PG Counselling in All India Quota is as follows: S.C- 15%, ST- 7.5%, OBC- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list- 27%, EWS- as per Central Government norms- 10%, and PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms- 5%.

Earlier, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-MDS 2020 on December 16, 2020. The entrance test was held for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course for session 2021-22. The result for the same was declared on December 31, 2020. Since then, counselling schedule for the MDS was awaited by the aspirants.
