National Testing Agency (NTA) conducting the NEET UG 2020 on Sept 13, 2020 displayed the Answer Key at website. Nodal Agency holding National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG for registered candidates at 3843 exam centres, to release NEET 2020 answer key question booklet code wise at Students appear for the NTA NEET 2020 exam can check the availability of NEET answer key of 13 Sept, 2020, after conduct of examination. Students appear for the NEET UG pen-paper based examination are able to check the NEET UG copy of response sheet and detailed analysis of Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology) after the exam. NTA on Sept 13, 2020 conducts NEET UG ( NEET (for admission to MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS) Entrance examination amidst COVID-19 pandemic, following comprehensive plan after MHA Instructions, Guidelines and orders. Following safety instructions & released SOP, the NEET examination conducted across all the examination centres. Focussing on social - distancing norms inside and outside the examination centre, strict and detailed instructions were issued, in view of the Covid-19 situation. Students were allowed wearing face masks, hand gloves and bringing personal transparent water bottle. Students were also asked to bring personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).

A proper sanitization was carried-out inside & outside the examination hall well much in advance, reports say. For the NEET UG examination a total 15.97 lakh candidates had registered, following which NTA decided to increase the exam centre to 3843 from earlier 2546. For ensuring social distancing outside the examination hall, the entry and exit of candidates was staggered.

The NTA will display the scanned images of OMR Answer Sheets and recorded response by the machine of all the candidates on the website The Answer Key release date, would be communicated after the examination on NTA website. Candidates will be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a processing fee of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged. For exact date of display of Answer Key, candidates may regularly check updates on NTA website after the examination.

Representations made by the candidates against the OMR grading will be verified by the NTA from the actual record and the same will be updated in the data, if challenges are found correct. However, no intimation in this regard will be sent to individual candidate. All candidates are advised to visit website for viewing and downloading image of OMR/ Answer Sheet and recorded responses by the candidates, official notice reads.

NEET UG 2020 pen-paper mode examination held in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu & Urdu. The examination was between at 02.00 pm to 5.00 pm (3 hours). A total 180 questions were asked from Physics, Chemistry & Biology, carrying 4 marks each.

NEET Answer Key 2020 (Unofficial): Physics, Chemistry & Bio:

A total 45 questions from Physics in Multiple Choice based format (MCQs) were asked from - Physical world and measurement, Electrostatics, Kinematics, Current Electricity, Laws of Motion, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Work, Energy and Power, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Motion of System of Particles and Solid Body, Electromagnetic Waves, Gravitation, Optics, Properties of Bulk Matter, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Thermodynamics, Atoms and Nuclei, Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Electronic Devices and Oscillations and Waves.

In Chemistry also 45 MCQs were asked from- Solid State, Atomic Structure, Solutions, Periodic Table, Electrochemistry, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Kinetics, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Surface Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, p- Block Elements, Redox Reactions, d and f Block Elements, Hydrogen, Coordination Compounds, s-Block Element (Alkali and Alkaline earth metals), Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, p-Block Elements, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Environmental Chemistry, Biomolecules, Polymers and Chemistry in Everyday Life.

From Biology section a total 90 questions were asked in equal proportion from Botany & Zoology as follows-  Diversity in Living World 1 Reproduction, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants, Genetics, & Evolution, Cell Structure and Function, Biology and Human Welfare, Plant Physiology, Biotechnology and its Applications, Human physiology and Ecology and environment.

For each correct answer, candidate will get 04 (four) marks whereas, for each incorrect answer, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score, marking scheme reads.

Note- The Answer Key displayed will be provisional, giving opportunity to the candidates to challenge. In case of any doubt in the NEET provisional answer key on the website Candidates will be given an opportunity to make online challenge against the provisional Answer Key on payment of processing fee of Rs.1000/- per answer challenged. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the NTA with the help of panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, result will be prepared and declared.

NEET 13 Sept Overall Paper Easy:

Students after taking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG on Sept 13, 2020 reported saying paper was easy specially in the Biology section. Questions asked in the Chemistry were more from the NCERT and Biology questions followed by basic concept/ formulas and applications. 

NEET Cut off 2020 Predictor:

The Cut off marks for the NEET UG 2020 will be released along with the result at the website. The cut-off for general category candidates shall be 50th percentile, while that for the reserved categories i.e SC/ ST/ OBC, sha be 40th percentile. After conduct of NEET exam, which is overall termed as Easy to moderate level, experts have hinted that the cut-offs for Government Medical colleges in MBBS & BDS are likely to go up by 10-20 marks due to an easy paper.
