Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducting the MHT CET online exam on October 12, likely to display MHT CET 2020 Answer key for October 12 (PCM). MHT CET on Monday, October 12 conducts Online Computer Based Test for PCM subjects in two shifts, following the social-distancing norms. Candidates who appear for the MHT CET PCM online exam Shift 1/ 2 can check the availability of MHT CET 2020 answer key/ solutions at web site mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in.

CET CELL on behalf of the State Department of Technical Education conducts MHT CET for PCM commencing October 12, 2020. The online examination conducted successfully at allotted exam centres in the state of Maharashtra. As CET Cell concludes the MHT CET PCM online exam would communicate on provisional Answer key/ response sheet at official web site.

Ahead of the display of MHT CET 2020 Answer key, candidates can check the MHT CET (PCM) 12 October exam paper analysis for Shift 1 & 2. Candidates can view the overall paper analysis, difficulty level of Shift 1/ 2 and weightage give particular section in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in MHT CET PCB. As per schedule, CELL conducts MHT CET (PCM) online examination beginning from Monday in dual shifts. MHT CET was held in Morning shift 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM and Afternoon shift 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM. The exam was conducted following the social distancing norms & safety protocol.

Important Note:

Due to power cut in some part of Maharashtra state, the Examination at five examination centres will be reconducted on 20 October 2020. The state CET Cell was to conduct the MHT CET PCM group exam from October 12, 2020, till October 20, 2020. Yesterday due to Mumbai power cut 5 centres conducting the exams were affected and exams were disrupted. The first session at 5 centres was disrupted and similar conditions were in the second shift too due to halt in train services in the city. 

"The exam of the students would now be held on or before October 20, 2020, as stated by MHT CET Cell. The notice adds."

MHT CET 2020 PCM Online exam held on October 12 consisted of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sections. The question papers carried a total 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) containing 4 options. The time duration of the MHT CET PCM was allotted 180 minutes. The computer-based test carried objective type questions and candidates were allotted 90 minutes time to finish one paper. Questions weightage was as follows-

  • Mathematics Class 11 – 10 questions, Class 12 – 40 questions, Total marks- 100
  • Physics- Class 11 – 10 questions, Class 12 – 40 questions, total marks- 50
  • Chemistry- Class 11 – 10 questions, Class 12 – 40 questions, total marks-50

Mathematics- Questions in this section asked from Logic statement, Matrices & Determinant, Pair of Straight Lines, Circle, Conics, Trigonometric Functions, Vectors, 3 Dimensional Geometry, Plane, Linear Programming Problems, Continuity, Applications of Derivative, Integration, Differentiation, Applications of Definite Integral, Differential Equation, Probability Distribution, Statistics and Bernoulli Trials and Binomial Distribution.
