MHT CET 2021 Answer Key (PCB); Shift-Wise Paper Analysis; Difficulty Level and Experts' Views

Maharashtra CET Cell is conducting the MHT CET 2021 for PCB group courses. The test is being conducted in two shifts at different exam centers across the country. The computer-based test for PCB is scheduled to be held from September 25 to October 01, 2021. Over 1.5 lakh candidates have registered to appear for the MHT-CET PCB (Pharmacy, Agriculture and & Allied Courses). Once the exam is over on October 01, 2021, CET Cell would publish the official answer key to invite challenges from the candidates. 

Maharashtra Common Entrance would display the MHT CET PCB answer key at web site cetcell.mahacet.org. Cell to release solutions/ response sheet after concluding the MHT CET online examination, most probably in the 1st week of October 2021. Once it is out, candidates who appear for the MHT CET Sept 25 to Oct 01, 2021, will be eligible to view the provisional answer key using their login credentials. 

Maharashtra CET cell on Friday, September 30 organizes the online exam for PCB subjects for the second-last date. The examination consisted of a total of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and with a duration of 3 hours is scheduled in two shifts. Ahead of the official publication of the MHT CET official answer key, a detailed analysis of PCB shifts 1 and 2, is being facilitated.

MHT CET 30 September Analysis: Shift 1

The morning session exam began at 9:00 am and lasted at 12:00 a.m. In examination questions were asked in English, Urdu, and Marathi languages. MHT CET PCB Question Paper in Urdu & Marathi were only available to the candidates who had opted for that particular language/ medium. The exam was conducted following the social distancing and safety protocols at examination centres across the state. 

Physics: From Physics questions are asked from Vector, Force, Friction in solids and liquids, Refraction of Light, Ray optics, Magnetic effect of electric current, Magnetism.

Chemistry: Questions are from topics including Basic Concepts of Chemistry, States of Matter, Redox reaction, Surface Chemistry, Nature of chemical bond, Hydrogen, s-Block elements (Alkali and alkaline earth metals), Basic principles and techniques in Organic Chemistry, Alkanes.

Biology: Questions from the Biology section are from topics including- Diversity in organisms, Biochemistry of cells, Plant Water Relations and Mineral Nutrition, Plant Growth and Development. Section II contained questions on Zoology i.e Organization of Cell, Animal tissues, Human Nutrition, Human Respiration.

The Question Paper contained  Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four Answer Options for each question. Each question had four alternatives of Answers, out of which only One Alternative was the Correct Answer. In the Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects each question is of 1 mark. The total duration for the Examination was 180 minutes, in which a candidate had to solve 200 Questions. It should be noted that there is no negative marking in the paper.

The second shift paper is scheduled to be held from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. Once the exam is over, the analysis will be facilitated thereafter.
