Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has conducted Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2021 (JNVST 2021) on August 11. The class 6 entrance exam is reportedly held successfully at 11,182 examination centers following all safety precautions and COVID protocols. NVS would further display the Navodaya Vidyalaya class 6 answer key on its official website - cbseitms.nic.in. Ahead of this, the candidates who appear for the entrance exam can go through the 11 August held JNVST 2021 Navodaya class 6 answer key.
As per the reports, the JNVST Class VI entrance test is held in English, Hindi, and the regional languages of each state. The admission test is held for a duration of 2 hours. The examination consisted of a total of 80 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. In the entrance test, questions were from Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test, and Language test.
Once the JNVST 2021 answer key is published, candidates will be provided the opportunity to raise challenges against the provisional key. After this, a final answer key will be issued on the website cbseitems.nic.in. The result of the JNV Selection Test 2021 is expected to be announced by September 2021. Candidates can get the result from the admission portal. It will also be displayed in the offices of the concerned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, District Education Officer, District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti of the Region.
It should be noted that the medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and thereafter English for Mathematics and Science and Hindi for Social Science.
As many as 2,41,7009 candidates have registered for the JNVST class 6 admission selection test. The test was proposed to be held on 10th April 2021 but was postponed to a revised date i.e August 11, 2021.
The test is conducted with an aim to shortlist candidates on a total of 47,320 seats in 661 Navodaya Vidyalayas sanctioned in 27 states and 08 union territories. A maximum of 80 students will be admitted in Class VI in each Vidyalaya through the selection test subject to the availability of suitable candidates.
