JEE MAIN September 4 Paper Analysis: Paper 1 Shift wise PCM Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA), Department of Higher Education (DHE), Ministry of Education, the Government of India shall conduct on the 4th Date of September 2020 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main-2020 in 02 Shifts (Forenoon Shift and Afternoon Sessions)  for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) / Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) for the Academic Session 2020 - 2021.   

The National Testing Agency will conduct the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) - 2020 in 02 Sessions / 02 Shifts, i.e., Forenoon (09:00 Hours up to 12:00 Hours) and  Afternoon Session (03:00 PM up to 06:00 PM).

The National Testing Agency would conduct concurrently the JEE (Main) - 2020 for B.Engg / B.Tech.  at 605 Centers AND B.Arch. / B.Plan. at 489 Centres located in 224 cities across India and 08 cities abroad.

JEE - Main 2020 Scheme:

The National Testing Agencies notified Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2020 for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (B.Engg.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
Bachelor of Architect (B.Arch.) / Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) slated to be held in 02 Shifts comprises as follows”:

B.E. / B.Tech. JEE - Main 2020:

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2020 for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) to be held in 1st Shift and 2nd Shift to be held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 03 Parts (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) comprises 25 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type  Papers each in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC). Each JEE (Main) 2020.

The JEE (Main) for B.Engg (B.E.) / B.Tech. consisting of 03 Parts comprises Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions carrying Maximum 300 Marks. 

The JEE (Main) - 2020 for B.E. / B.Tech shall carry 04 Marks for each correct responses +04 and 01 Mark would be deducted for every Incorrect Answer.

B.Arch / B. Plan JEE (Main) 2020:

The JEE (Main) - 2020 for admission into Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) consisting of 03 Parts (Part - I, Part - II and Part - III) Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of Part - I Mathematics, Part - II Aptitude Test and Part III  Drawing Test.  The JEE (Main) 2020 consisting of Part I & Part - II  comprises 25 + 50 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) will be held in Online mode and 02 Drawing Test (DT) Questions to be held in the Pen and Paper Mode.

The JEE (Main) 2020 for B.Arch.consisting of 03 Parts where Part - I and Part II comprise 25 + 50 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions and Part III (Drawing Test) comprising 02 Objective Type MCQs, Maximum  400 Marks

B.Plan JEE (Main) 2020:

The National Testing Agency will conduct in Afternoon Shift / single shift the JEE (Main) 2020 for Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan). The JEE (Main) 2020 for Bachelor of Planning  Mathematics consists of 03 Parts, i.e., Part I and Part II Multiple Choice Question of Objective Type (MCQOT) Computer Based Test and Aptitude Test and Part III  comprising Planning Based.  

The JEE (Main) 2020 for B.Planning comprising 03 Parts shall have Total 100 Objective Type MCQs for 400 Marks. JEE (Main) - 2020 for B.Plan carries Maximum 400 Marks.  Each Correct Answer shall be awarded 04 Marks and there would be a penalty of 01 Mark for each wrong Response.

JEE (Main) 2020 Merit, Result:

The National Testing Agency will declare in September 2020 the Result for JEE (Main) 2020 for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Bachelor of Planning (B.Planning).

The National Testing Agency will prepare the JEE (Main) Merit List based on the Candidates’ performance in the JEE (Main) - 2020 held during the 1st and 6th September 2020.

The National Testing Agency will publish on the Website the Result for JEE (Main) - 2020 with Press Release and SMS Alert on the Candidates’ Registered Cellphone Numbers.
