The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE Main Online examination on September 3, for the third consecutive day. The JEE Main Computer Based exam held in first shift at across 660 examination centres across the country. Successfully conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) April/ Sept 2020 Paper 1 for B.E/ B.Tech in shift 1 (Morning shift) and shift 2 (Afternoon shift), National Testing Agency would publish solutions/ answer key of the September 3 examination at website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Meanwhile, students who answer the JEE Main exam can go through the paper analysis of both shifts, after examination.
NTA conducts JEE Main Paper 1 online exam on Thursday, following the social distancing guidelines. Based on a report, maintaining a gap of 4 feet the students are being placed apart from each other inside the examination hall. Thermal testing at entry points and face masks/ gloves and hand sanitizers at the time of Students’ entry, were allowed.
Students participated in the JEE Main online exam held on Sept 3, 2020 (Shift 1 / 2 ) can check the Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics part wise analysis along with solutions of asked 75 questions. After successful conduct of Computer Based examination, several coaching Institutes including Career Point, FIITJEE, Resonance, Allen Classes etc make the answer key available to help the students reckon their marks. Official Answer key of JEE Main exam 2020 will be made available at NTA JEE Main portal after conduct of exams.
Joint Entrance Examination (Main) Paper 1 entry was began at 7 am in morning for the first shift. The JEE Morning shift examination started at 9:30 am and lasted at 12:30 pm. Nearly 1.8 lakh students were predicted to appear in both the shifts of 3rd September 2020. However, at several examination centres students reported skipped the JEE Main examination. The percentage of students didn't appear in JEE Main Sep 3, was quite low and students were seen maintaining proper distance outside the examination centre.

According to a report published in The Telegraph, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee holding a news conference on Wednesday that as many as 75 per cent students in the state could not appear for the JEE (Main) exam.
