JEE Main 1 September Paper Analysis; Shift 1 Exam Over; Difficulty, Students' Reactions & Answer Key Update

The nodal agency has conducted the 1st shift JEE Main 2021 examination on September 01. The exam will be held in two shifts. The analysis of the shift 1 and 2 examinations will be shared after the examination is over.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday, September 01 conducted the JEE Main 2021 April session examination for BE/ BTech for the 4th day. The 1st shift online exam is reportedly now over at all centers. As the examination is over, an analysis of the JEE Main 1st September CBT is shared. JEE Main April 2021 session official answer key, however, will be shared after the exam is over. Along with the provisional key, response sheet, objection window to help candidates to be facilitated online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Candidates who attempt the JEE Main (April) 2021 exam for day 4 or appearing in going to appear in upcoming shifts have a look at the shift 1 analysis, asked questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Along with this, the unofficial answer key of JEE Main 2021, difficulty level of shift 1 paper is hereby shared.

  • Each subject has 20 MCQs and 10 numerical questions. 5 out of 10 numerical questions are optional.
  • 90 questions, 25 each from Physics, Maths, and Chemistry are asked from the candidates. 
  • The JEE Main 2021 paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) is conducted for total 300 marks.

According to the media reports, the examination is being held at more than 600 exam centers across the country. The examination is being held following the COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing. Over 6 lakh candidates have registered to appear for the session 4 JEE Main 2021 Examination.

JEE Main Sept 1 Shift 1 Analysis:

On Tuesday, JEE Main Paper 1 is reportedly held for Engineering Paper. "The overall difficulty level of the 1st shift exam is moderate. The paper was balanced and any average student with basic preparation could attempt 35-40 questions easily. Chemistry questions were comparatively easier than the other two subjects. Students, however, had the choice of attempting 5 out of the 10 questions. The paper was similar to previous attempts," a student said through media reporters.

Physics-  20 MCQs+5 Numerical Type Questions: (Moderate to Difficult Level). MCQs are asked from Kinetics, Measurement, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, Electrostatics, Thermodynamics, Wave Motion, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Magnetism, etc.

Mathematics- 20 MCQs+5 Numerical Type Questions: (Moderate to Difficult Level). Questions are asked from Function, Complex Number, Permutation & Combination, Calculus, Differential Equation, Co-ordinate Geometry, Probability, and Trigonometry, etc.

Chemistry- 20 MCQs+5 Numerical Type Questions: (Moderate to Difficult Level). Questions are from Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Solution, Hydrogen Compounds, p-Block elements, s-block elements, Co-ordination Compounds, d-f block Elements, Polymers, & Hydrocarbons, Biomolecules, etc.
