JEE Main 1/9 First Shift exam over, Here is PCM Questions, Answer Key & Analysis

National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) September 1, Shift 1 between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Agency conducts JEE Main examination Paper 2 on Tuesday 01/09/2020 at across 660 exam centres in Computer Based Mode. The JEE Main examination has been conducted following the social distancing and with proper safety measures. Students wearing face masks/ hand gloves and hand sanitizers, personal water bottles were allowed entry into exam halls. A proper safety protocol is being followed by students as well as authorities across the examination centres.

Students appear in the JEE Main Examination 1st September are notified on the detailed analysis of the Shift 1 Examination. From students' reactions on the first shift Exam / paper level and difficulty level they faced in CBT test are described. On Sept 1, JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B.Plan) examination held in Shift 1 at more than 650 examination centres in different parts of the countries.

A total 25 questions each were asked from the Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics sections. Total 75 questions carrying 4 marks each was framed in the examination pattern. The paper level is termed as easy to moderate, however several questions in Mathematics and Physics paper were of high level.   

In Chemistry- As per the first shift analysis of September 1 Online examination a total 8 questions from Organic Chemistry, 8 from Inorganic Chemistry and 9 from Physical Chemistry. In Physics section 10 questions were asked from Class 11 syllabusand 15 questions carrying 4 marks each, were asked from Class 12th Physics syllabus.

In Physics- 2 Questions from General & Experiments, 7 questions from Mechanics, 4 questions from Thermal Physics, 6 from Electro-Magnetism, 3 from Optics, 2 from Modern Physics and 1 Question from Electronics & Communication.

In Mathematics- A total 9 questions from Class 11 Maths, 16 questions from Class 12 syllabus- The part wise distribution is as follows-

Algebra- 5 Questions, Trigonometry- 2 Questions, Coordinate Geometry- 6 Questions, Differential Calculus- 4 Questions, Integral Calculus- 5 Questions and Vectors- 3 Questions were asked.

Volunteers helped students to take JEE Exam: 

At different examination centres, RSS volunteers were seen helping students appearing for JEE Main 2020 examination. Volunteers were seen providing the free food, transport and financial aid to the students who are affected by the floods & lockdowns.
