The Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (CICSE) on Friday, December 03 conducts Class 10th Hindi Semester 1 paper. As per the ICSE board exams 2021-22 schedule, the paper began at sharp 11:00 am and over at 12:30 pm with a 90 minutes duration. Students who appear for the examination now can check the ICSE Class 10 Hindi paper analysis along with paper solutions and difficulty level.

As per the media reports, ICSE Class 10 Semester 1 Hindi paper is held successfully at all the designated centers. The exam is conducted in the newly-prescribed format containing MCQs. The Semester-1 Examination was average in difficulty level. However, some of the questions were a bit confusing and tricky. Most of the questions were from the syllabus prescribed for the first semester. 

This year, CISCE will conduct two exams keeping to the pattern of holding examinations, as recommended in the National Education Policy (NEP) document. The examinations for semester 2 are scheduled to be held in March/ April 2022.

ICSE Class 10 Hindi 3rd Dec Paper Analysis:

According to the revised syllabus, the ICSE Hindi Semester 1 paper consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The candidates were provided four options for a particular question. Semester 1 examination is held for 40 marks for a time duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The exam was divided into two sections i.e Section A: Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms and phrases (20 marks) and Section B: Questions based on short stories and poems (20 marks).

In section A all questions were compulsory while in section B only questions from one book were to be answered by the students. ICSE Hindi Semester 1 exam consisted of questions from the topics including Short Stories, Novels, Poems, and One-Act Play.
