ICAR AIEEA PG and PhD Exam Analysis; September 17 CBT Questions, Difficulty Level & Answer Key

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) on September 17 conducted the AIEEA PG and Ph.D. entrance test. After the examination is over, ICAR would display the provisional answer key and response sheet on its website.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) on Friday, September 17, 2021, conducted the ICAR Entrance Examinations-2021 for PG and AICE JRF/SRF Ph.D courses. The entrance test is reportedly held successfully at all the designated centres in 89 cities across India. Candidates who appear for the ICAR AIEEA PG or Ph.D. can check the availability of the answer key at the website icar.org.in. In case of non-availability, may go through the paper analysis as shared by exam experts.

According to the media reports, the AIEEA (PG) 2021 examination is held following the social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines at all the examination centres.

When asked, the majority of the candidates call September 17, 2021, held the AIEEA PG exam as average in difficulty level. The questions asked from PCB/PCM/ PCA/ ABC subjects were based on the same pattern. The paper was balanced, say several of the students. 

Based on the feedback received from the candidates, as many as 150 questions are asked from the candidates in AIEEA-( PG) and AICE- JRF/SRF (Ph.D) computer-based test. Three tests, each containing 50 questions has to be attempted by all the candidates on the computer screen. To do so, a time duration of 120 minutes is given to all the candidates. Each question is consists of 4 options.

It should be noted that 4 marks are awarded for each correct response to the candidate. Whereas, -1 mark for each incorrect response as negative scoring and 0 for non-attempt are provisioned.

Ahead of the result announcement, the nodal agency will display the attempted question paper along with the provisional answer key of the questions on the website- icar.nta.ac.in to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the answer key. AIEEA PG 2021 answer key will be displayed for three days.

The candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the key on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question challenged. ICAR will display the recorded responses of all the candidates and their attempted question papers on the NTA website prior to the declaration of the AIEEA 2021 result.

The candidates who qualify through the ICAR AIEEA (PG) / AICE JRF/SRF-(Ph.D) will be eligible for admission to Post Graduate / Doctoral Programmes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (lCAR) for the academic session 2021-22.
