HSSC Sub Inspector Official Answer Key 2021 Soon; Check SI Expected Cut off And Result Date

In order to check the official answer key, candidates have to visit hssc.gov.in and log in to the public notice section. They can raise objection against the provisional key if any. The expected cut-off for SI Male and Female candidates is explained below.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has successfully conducted the OMR-based examination for the post of Sub Inspector (Male and Female) in Haryana Police. The examination consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions from the prescribed syllabus was held on September 26 in two shifts i.e Morning shift and Evening shift for Sub Inspector (Male) and Sub-Inspector (Female) applicants respectively. According to the media reports, over 65% of the total applicants appeared in the 80 marks Knowledge Test (KT). It was also reported that the candidates were allotted the exam centers at a far distance to avoid cheating and paper leaks.

HSSC SI Official Answer Key:

The state commission is expected to publish the official answer key of the SI written examination soon, enabling the candidates to check and relate their responses with the answer key. With this, the candidates can get a rough estimation of their scores. Based on the recent trends, HSSC SI official answer key shall likely release by September 30, 2021. However, any official date has not been specified by the commission.

Once the answer key is released, any candidate finds any objection regarding any answer, he or she may submit an objection against the key. To do so, the candidate needs to go to the website hssc.gov.in. Then have to click on the link “Inviting Objection for answer key (Advt. No. 04/2020)” button. The objection should only be raised online at the link given on the official website. The candidates have to specify the objection along with the name of the Post, Advt. No., Category No., Date of Examination, Set Code, Shift/Session, and question no. on which the objection is raised.

HSSC SI Expected Cut off 2021:

As far as the cut-off is concerned, the commission will set criteria for each category, to draw cut-off marks for shortlisting the candidates for the Physical Test. The different cut-offs will be decided for SI male and female candidates as the examination was different and the number of vacant posts per category is different. The cut-off marks will be decided out of 80 marks as allotted for the knowledge test.

It should be noted that there was a total of 100 questions each carrying 0.8 marks for correct response. To shortlist the candidates for the next stage commission will decide cut off marks out of 80.

Harana Staff Selection Commission reserves the right to decide the cut-off criteria. It has been provisioned that candidates, equaling 07 times the number of vacancies in each category on basis of marks shall be declared to have qualified the Knowledge Test (KT). The Physical Screening Test would be only qualifying in nature, to judge the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates.

HSSC SI Result Date:

According to the Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission, the result will be declared in the 1st week of October and successively the Physical screening test to commence around October 10, 2021. However, the result date has not been released at hssc.gov.in or any leading newspaper, officially.

Preparation of SI Merit List:

The merit list will be drawn based on combined marks of Knowledge Test (80 marks), Additional qualification (10 Marks), and Miscellaneous (10 Marks).

Miscellaneous includes 05 marks, if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was, or has been a regular employee in any Department/ Board/ Corporation/ Company/ Statutory Body/ Commission/ Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India.

  • 05 marks shall be given if the applicant is a widow or the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years or the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years.
  • 05 marks will be given if the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe.
  • A maximum of 08 marks has been kept for experience as an Adhoc or contract employee.

Under the HSSC Advt no. 03/2021 the recruitment drive is to fill 465 posts of Sub Inspector (Male & Female) in the Police Department, Government of Haryana. Of the total 400 posts to be filled for SI Male and remaining 65 vacancies are for female candidates.
