The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) on Monday, February 22 conducts examinations for Assistant Professor (Architecture), Veterinary Officer, Planning Officer, Manager (General), Works Manager in HRTC. The examination is conducted following the social distancing and other Covid19 related guidelines.

The examination is reportedly held in one shift (09:30 am to 11:30 pm). The examination is held aiming to the recruitment of more than 50 posts of Assistant Professor, Veterinary Officer, Manager, and Planning Officer in Himachal Pradesh.
Ahead of the release of the Assistant Professor (Architecture), Veterinary Officer exam answer key, anticipation is made regarding the availability of Paper booklet-code-wise solutions, responses, and challenges. Candidates shall check the facility within 7 days of the conduct of the written examination. Intimation regarding the raising of challenges against the provisional key would be facilitated along with the provisional answer key.
Sources have that the written examination for Assistant Professor, Veterinary Officer, Planning Officer, and Manger posts is held successfully keeping all safety and interruption across the allotted centers. A proper sanitization was carried-out inside the exam premise ahead of the examination. Thermal scanning was impaneled at entry points. Candidates were only allowed to wear face cover/ masks inside the exam hall. Those using hanky provided face-mask at the exam center. Use of face mask/ hand sanitizer/ transparent water bottle was allowed inside the exam hall.
Papers-1 consisted of questions from General Hindi and General Knowledge. A total of 60 questions were asked from GK and General Hindi, each question carries three marks. Maximum marks in Assistant Professor and Veterinary Officer paper 1 are180. The exam was to be answered in 2 hours (120 minutes) duration.
General Knowledge: Questions were asked from Economic issues in India, International issues, Indian Culture, Political Science, National, and International current affairs, Music & Literature, History of India, Cultural Heritage, General Science, Space & IT, Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Indian Culture, Economy, Political Science, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity & Governance, Science & Technology, Sports, Scientific observations, International issues, and Abbreviations.
