Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) would be releasing the Answer key of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 on its website. The intimation regarding the GATE 2021 answer key will be made public at the website gate.iitb.ac.in. The candidates who appear for February 14, 2021 (Sunday) GATE computer-based exam for ME-1, XH subjects can check the availability of the answer key at the official site.
Ahead of the official publication of key, an analysis of the 1st shift GATE 2021 exam held from 9:30 to 12:30 hrs for ME-1 and XH, is provided. Paper review with difficulty level and asked questions from Mechanical Engineering and Humanities & Social Sciences among other subjects in the Morning shift, are being shared.
According to the reports, in the GATE February 14 held exam the pattern of questions included some Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and/or Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

GATE 14 February 1st Shift Paper Analysis:
The examination is reportedly held maintaining the social-distancing and other Covid19 guidelines. The candidates were allowed only wearing face mask/cover inside the examination hall. Temperature testing and frisking were carried out before the beginning of the GATE 2021 examination at centers across the country. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Morning shift paper held for the subjects including ME1 (Mechanical Engineering), and XH (Humanities and Social Sciences).

GATE ME1 & XH Paper Analysis:
Based on the reports, the Mechanical Engineering Paper 1 (ME1) exam held in the Morning shift was moderate in level. According to the experts, the Aptitude test was easy in difficulty level. There is no MSQ in the paper. All the MCQs were asked in the General Aptitude section. Analysis of other sections is as follows-
