Bihar Police Subordinate Services Selection Commission or BPSSC is set to display the Forest Range Officers examination that was held on 17 January 2021. After the release of the provisional Answer key, candidates will be able to view the correct responses to the questions they answered in BPSSC organized Forest Range Officer exam on January 17. Candidates found mistakes in the provisional key will be subject to lodge challenges against the provisional key within a stipulated time.
The Bihar Subordinate Services Commission on Sunday, January 17 successfully organized the written examination for Forest Range Officers 43 posts in Bihar Forest Department, under Advt no 02/2020. About 1.8 lakh candidates had registered for the advertised RFO vacancies.
According to a report, the Bihar BPSSC conducted the written examination with an aim to shortlist candidates for the next round of selection. The examination is organized successfully at the designated centres across the Bihar state.
Candidates were strictly advised to appear at the examination centre following the instructions in compliance with the safety from the Covid-19 infection. They were asked to wear face mask/cover inside the examination hall. A social-distancing was seen maintained inside and outside the centre in response to the guidelines laid by Govt. of India.
After the examination, BPSSC is responsible to publish the Forest Range Officer Paper Answer key (Provisional and Final) at website bpssc.bih.nic.in. The commission shall likely release the official Answer key within seven days of the examination. Ahead of the display of 17 January held Range Forest Officer answer key, an analysis of the paper is shared along with students' reviews and responses.
According to the candidates who came out after taking the RFO examination on Sunday, told sources that the examination was easy to moderate level. "There were two papers in the examination, Paper 1 consisted of 50 multiple choice question based on General Hindi and the Second paper consisted of 100 multiple choice based questions on General Studies", a student said after the examination.
It should be noted by the candidates that there is negative marking for each of the wrong answer marked by a candidate in Paper 1 and 2. In paper 1 each correct answer will mark 2 marks whereas, for each wrong answer a deduction of 0.2 marks is provisioned. Similarly, in paper 2 each correct response will award 3 marks to a candidate, whereas, 03. marks to be deducted for every wrong answer in Paper 2.
Paper 1 (General Hindi)- As many as 50 questions were asked from the Hindi section. Questions were put from Hindi Literature and Grammar both. Student scoring 30 plus correct questions would mark safe score.
Paper 2 (General Knowledge)- As many as 100 multiple choice based questions, each carrying 3 marks was conducted in a duration of 2 hours. Questions were asked from General Science, General Knowledge, Mathematics, General Intelligence, History, Politics, National and International events, organizations etc.
