The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Personnel Division on Sunday, February 21 conducts Upper Division Clerk or UDC exam. The Morning shift examination for UDC Clerk is reportedly held successfully at designated centres in six cities across the country. As the examination is over an analysis of the UDC Clerk 21 February exam is being shared with the help of experts. Analysis and question paper review of the Afternoon shift Work Assistant/A examination will be shared after the examination is over.
A review of the BARC recruitment examination for UDC and Work Assistant/A is also being shared on behalf of the responses provided by the students after the examination. Section-wise asked questions and the difficulty level of the particular section (major portion from where the questions being asked) and the overall level of paper are also lined-up after the examination.
The official Answer key of the UDC and Work Assistant exam will be published only on the website of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) i.e http://www.barc.gov.in. The link to download the answer key shall available within 7 days of the exam. Information regarding downloading the answer key shall be uploaded to the BARC website www.recruit.barc.gov.in. Ahead of the display of the solutions, response sheet and intimation to raise challenges against the preliminary key, here is the analysis of BARC UDC and Work Assistant exams being facilitated.
According to the data provided by the BARC, as many as 1,19,577 candidates had registered and eligible to appear for the Work Assistant/A examination. The examination is held at 06 Centres (Bhopal, Kolkata, New Delhi, Gauhati, Bangalore, and Mumbai) all over the country as detailed below.
Upper Division Clerk- The examination of the UDC Clerk is held in the forenoon session on Sunday, 21 February. According to the candidates as many as 100 Multiple Choice Type questions were asked from General English, General Knowledge, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic).
BARC Work Assistant/A- Total 50 Questions each carrying one mark was allotted. The duration of the examination one-hour examination. A total of 50 questions were asked from Mathematics (20 MCQs), Science (20 MCQs) and General Awareness (10 MCQs).
Work Assistant A: The Exam is held on 21st February in the Afternoon session. Review of examination with paper analysis of the Work Assistant post to be available after the examination is over.
General Awareness: Questions were asked from Indian Polity, Sports, Current events– International & National, Indian Economy, Personalities in News, Indian National Movements, Science and Technology, Indian Constitution, Geography – India.
Reasoning- Analytical Reasoning, Number Series, Letter and Symbol Series, Puzzles, Data Sufficiency, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Classification.
Mathematics- Percentages, Mixture and Alligation, Data Interpretation, Simplification, Number Systems, Time and Distance, Problems on Trains, Ratio and Proportion, Boats and Streams, Time and Work, Discounts, and H.C.F. and L.C.M.
