Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts the screening test for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Elect, Mech, Chemical) on August 28, 2021 (Saturday). According to the reports, the AE screening test is conducted successfully at all centers. As the examination is over, the candidates who appear for the examination now can check the analysis of AE Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical streams.
According to the schedule, APSC has conducted the screening test in OMR-based mode for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical) under Public Health Engineering Department, Assam (Advt. No. 06/2020). Reportedly, the overall difficulty level of the APSC AE August 28 examination was 'Moderate'.
The next step from the APSC end would be to display the answer key on the website. With the release of the answer key, students will be able to estimate their performance and score. It should be noted that the official answer key will be displayed on the website apsc.nic.in, only after the examination is over.
In order to check the APSC AE answer key, candidates have to visit the website apsc.nic.in. It will redirect to the homepage. Wherein, candidates have to click on the "Answer Keys" tab available on the left sidebar. By doing so, the latest updates on keys will appear on the computer screen. They have to click on the particular booklet series-wise answer key link below "Screening Test (OMR Based) for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical)...". The answer key will be compiled in a pdf file carrying correct responses on the OMR sheet.
Once the answer key is available, all the candidates have to download and print the same for future representations and use. In case of discrepancy, the same has to be brought to the notice of the concerned agency. Thereafter, an expert committee will visualize the representations and revise them with the final answer key.
The result, however, will be declared at a later date. There has been no official date when APSC would declare the result. It can be expected within 15 to 30 days of the examination.
