The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh is expected to release the answer key of Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2021, soon. Once the answer key is officially released at polycetap.nic.in, the candidates will be able to check and download the booklet code-wise solutions. The entrance examination was held on Wednesday, September 01, 2021.
The state board has conducted the AP POLYCET for the candidates who had registered for the entrance test. The next effort from the board would be to display the official answer key and inviting objections/challenges against the provisional solutions.
According to the feedback received from the students, the examination was held in one paper as per the syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry of X Class. The Question paper consisted of 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them.
A total 50 questions are there from Mathematics with maximum 50 marks. Whereas, 40 and 30 questions were from Physics and Chemistry respectively. The candidates were given a total 2 hours time duration to attempt all POLYCET 2021 examination.
To qualify the entrance test, the candidates have to score a minimum twenty five percent marks i.e., 30 marks out of120. Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes shall be assigned ranking irrespective of the marks obtained in the entrance test. Such candidates even less than 25% marks in POLYCET-2021 shall be eligible to compete for their category of seats during the admission.
AP POLYCET 2021 result is likely to be declared within fifteen days from the date of test. The rank card will also be dispatched within a week from the date of declaration of the result.

The entrance test is conducted for the candidates seeking admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering/ Non-Engineering/ Technology courses offered at Polytechnics institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics/ Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2021-2022.
