University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 revised exam dates have been released on the official site ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 session exams would now begin on November 20, 2021. The computer-based exam will take place in two blocks- first from November 20 to 30, 2021, and December 01 to 05, 2021. UGC NET admit cards are expected to be released shortly on the official site.
Earlier, the examination was supposed to start in October 2021 but, later it was postponed. The exam dates were postponed on the request of students demanding the agency to take a concrete step to avoid a possible clash with other exams. Finally, realizing an official notice on October 22, 2021, NTA published the revised exam dates.
"The dates for the conduct of the Examination for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles have now been finalized. The detailed date sheet will be uploaded soon on the website. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NTA website www.nta.ac.in, reads the official notice.
In addition to that, the nodal agency has also set helpline numbers. For any queries or clarifications, candidates can call NTA Help Desk at 011 40759000 or write to NTA at [email protected] Further, the candidates are asked to keep a check on the official website for subject-wise date sheet and admit card.
NTA has issued Admit Card to the candidates subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions. Based on the previous year trends, the admit cards are expected to be released 1 week before the examination. For UGC NET November 2020 session, NTA released the admit cards
Accordingly, the new schedule informs that the UGC NET December 20 and June 21 exams will be held in two blocks - November 20 to 30, 2021, and December 01 to 05, 2021. However, no exam will take place on November 23 and 27, 2021.

UGC NET 2021 is being conducted by NTA from 24th September 2020 onwards in 81 subjects at different centers across India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and JRF or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities, Colleges, and Institutions recognized by UGC.
