SSC CHSL Exam (Tier-I) 2020 Admit Card, Download for Left-over candidates

CHSL (10+2) Level Exam (Tier-I) 2020 Admit Card: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) shall activate toward the end of October 2020, E-Admission Card Download Link for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 for the Left-over candidates.  The Staff Selection Commission shall inform the candidates through their registered Cellphone Numbers on downloading the E-Admission Certificates. The Candidates would be issued One-Time Password (OTP) with the instructions detailed on how to download the E-Admission Letters.

The candidates must carry necessary documents together with their Admission Certificates.  None of the candidates in the absence of the required documents will be disallowed from appearing in the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 to be held in October 2020.

*CoViD -2019 compliance: The candidates appearing in the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 must ensure that they are CoViD Safe and wear the Face Masks.     

CHSL (10+2) Level Tier - I Examination 2020:

The Staff Selection Commission shall conduct Shift-wise the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 on the Dates Notified / Revised as follows:

12th October up to 16th October 2020
19th up to 21st October 2020
&
26th October 2020

The SSC notified Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 consists of 03 Tiers for selection to the Posts under the Ministries / Departments / Offices as follows:   
 
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSA)
Postal Assistants (PA) / Sorting Assistants (SA)
Data Entry Operators (DEOs)
Data Entry Operators (DEOs) Grade 'A'

The SSC would hold the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 as follows:

Tier-I (Objective) Computer Based Examination

The Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 consists of 04 Parts comprising 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions carrying 200 Marks. The Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier - I) 2020 comprising 04 Parts I) English Language (Basic Knowledge), II) General Intelligence, III) Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) and iv) General Awareness. There shall be a penalty of 0.50 Marks for each Wrong Answer / Incorrect Response in Tier - I Examination 2020.

The Candidates shortlisted in Tier - I will be called to appear in Tier - II (Descriptive)

Tier - II (Descriptive) - 100 Marks
Essay, Letter, Application Writing  

The Candidates obtaining Minimum Qualifying 33% Marks will be called for appearing in Document Verification.

Tier - III:

Tier - III Skill Test / Typewriting Test

Selection Criteria:

The Staff Selection Commission shall normalize the scores secured by the candidates and use the same to determine the  merit and for final selection.

Merit List:

The SSC shall prepare separate category-wise cut-offs in Tier-I and subsequent Tiers for different posts,  i.e., (i) Data Entry Operator (DEO), (ii) DEO Grade 'A' and (iii) LDC / JSA and PA / SA.

The Staff Selection Commission, in order of Merit, will shortlist the candidates for Document Verification and Tier-III Examination on the basis of their performance in Tier-I + Tier-II subject to having scored minimum 33% Marks in Tier-II Examination. Tier-III Examination, i.e., Skill Test / Typing Test remains qualifying in nature.
