DSSSB Junior Clerk Admit Card 2021 Out; Post Code 13/20 (DTC) Exam from 9-15 November

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the exam date for Junior Clerk (DTC), post code 13/20. The board will conduct the Junior Clerk tier-1 exam from November 09 to 17, 2021. Ahead of the exam, the admit card for the same is now made available online.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is expected to issue the admit card of the Junior Clerk (Post Code 13/20) Paper 1 Examination 2021 shortly. The admit card will be released online at dsssb.delhi.gov.in and dsssbonline.nic.in. Candidates who have applied for DSSSB Advt. No. 01/20 for Post Code 13/20 will be able to download their admit card using login id and password. The computer-based test for Junior Clerk DTC will be held from November 09 to 17, 2021.

The board will be conducting the examination nearly a year ago when the applications were invited to fill 254 posts of Junior Clerk in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), Govt. of Delhi. Over 3 lakh candidates have applied for the said posts and have been waiting for their admit cards. Earlier, the examination was supposed to be held in March this year, but due to the second wave of the COVID-19, it was postponed.

DSSSB Junior Clerk (DTC) Admit Card 2021 Update:

October 29: The Junior Clerk admit card link is likely to be activated shortly on the official site dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The site is reportedly facing a technical glitch, is expected to restore shortly. Candidates are asked to keep a check at the website from time to time. 

In order to download the admit card, candidates have to visit the website dsssb.delhi.gov.in. Thereafter, they have to click on the link reading on the homepage "Download Admit Card for Online CBT Exam Scheduled on 09-17 October 2021". Then, enter login credentials like online application number and password. Click on the ‘Submit’ button to find the admit card. It is advised to cross-check the details given in the admit card 2021 and then download the same. Ensure to take a printout after downloading the Jr Clerk admit cards.

The computer-based examination will be for 2 hours time duration and will follow an objective-type/ multiple-choice pattern. The medium of the test paper will be bilingual, i.e. it will be in both Hindi and English. A total of 200 questions have to be attempted by the candidates. Questions will be asked from the following subjects.

1. General Awareness.

2. General Intelligence & Reasoning ability.

3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability.

4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension.

5. Test of English Language & Comprehension.

The examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers which would be in the language concerned only. The board has fixed the minimum qualifying marks for different categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/P.W.D/EXSM)

DSSSB Jr. Clerk Syllabus: 

(i) General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions, etc.

(ii) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.

(iii) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.

(iv) Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension: In addition to the testing of candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc. would also be covered.

The selection of the candidates will be made through the One Tier and Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable. The selected candidates will be hired upon 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay 2000 according to Group ‘C’.
