Availability of Tier 1 MTS Exam date / call letters shall be obtained from Defence Research & Development Organization DRDO. After final draft DRDO shall likely update MTS Phase 1 CBT Screening Test exam notice.
DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2020- The Online Computer Based Test schedule for Online Examination Tier 1 2020 is about to be updated at Defence Research & Development Organization. Exam date for MTS will be published on website. DRDO CEPTAM MTS exam date, time & venue of Online Tier 1 examination will be given on admit card. The e-admit cards will be available on official website drdo.gov.in for download/ print, preferably 02 weeks prior to examination.
Candidates must print (preferably in colour) the admit card and carry it for appearing in examinations. Valid original photo Id (as mentioned in the application form) is mandatory with admit card to appear in the examination.
Note- Admit cards will not be sent by post. Electronic gadgets like Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pen drive, laptops, calculators etc., any other communication devices, wrist watches/fitness band, pen/pencil, debit/credit card, ornaments & jewellery /ring/chain/locket etc and any other prohibited items are strictly NOT allowed inside the exam hall
The selection process will consist of Tier–I (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection) as described here under.
Tier-I and Tier-II will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. B) The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement. The Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.

CBT (Screening) Test will comprise- General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability 35 questions, General Awareness 30 Questions and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability with 35 questions. There will be total 90 Minutes time duration allotted to Stage 1 Test.
Qualifying Status- The provisional selection will be based on the merit obtained in Tier-I examination depending upon the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/ESM/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
