The National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct Delhi University Entrance Test 2020 for admissions to UG, PG, MPhil & Ph.D programmes. NTA schedules the DUET 2020 starting from 6th September 2020 & issues detailed admission guidelines at “Admission Portal”. All aspirant desirous of seeking admission to UG, PG, M.Phil. and Ph.D programmes of the University of Delhi through entrance test are intimated admission guidelines at du.ac.in.
Releasing notice through University website, on Sunday DU confirmed that Entrance Tests will be organized from 6 to 11 September 2020 for selected UG, PG & Research courses. The decision is taken amid speculations over entrance examinations in view of Covid19 situation. It was presumed that Delhi University would not be conducting entrance examinations for admission session 2020-21 as University had scrapped ECA trials. Students are hereby advised to carefully go through the respective Bulletin of Information uploaded on the website of University of Delhi to check the eligibility and the courses for which the entrance test shall be conducted.
DU Entrance Test Dates 2020:
NTA is likely to conduct the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2020 from 6th Sept 2020 to 11th Sept 2020. The detailed schedule will be intimated in due course at the website Admission portal. The applicants can choose the relevant courses while filling up their DU Admissions 2020-21 registration form. Once submitted, following information related to Entrance test/s cannot be changed: A. DUET Admit Card 2020:
The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. Dates for downloading admit cards will be intimated later on the website nta.ac.in. Candidates have to appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in their Admit card.
Mode of Examination- LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test). There shall be 2 Hours time duration & Multiple Choice based question will be asked in DUET. Total 50 Questions will be asked and each question will carry 2 marks. Four marks will be assigned per question for each correct response where for every wrong answer -1 negative marking would be assigned. Medium of DU Entrance Test paper shall be English only.
DUET (UG Courses under Entrance Test):
Admission to undergraduate courses based on entrance tests (wherein admissions will be made based on marks scored in the entrance test and qualifying class XII examination) are offered by the University of Delhi through some of its colleges/departments in various streams of study.
