KVS launches two more Kendriya Vidyalayas in Karnataka and Punjab, total reaches to 1247

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) on Thursday launched two new Kendriya Vidyalayas one in Belgavi Karnataka and the other in Ropar, Punjab, informed Union Education Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal. With this addition, the total number reaches to 1247.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has added two new Kendriya Vidyalayas in its list making the total number 1247 in list. One Kendriya Vidyalaya is launched at IIT Ropar, Punjab and another one in Belgavi, Karnataka, tweeted Union Education Minister on Thursday.

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal said that two new names have been added to the list of Kendriya Vidyalayas. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is launching two new schools in Karnataka and Punjab. The names of these schools are- 1. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sadalga, Belagavi, Karnataka 2. Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Ropar, Punjab.

"My best wishes to both Kendriya Vidyalayas. With these two schools, the total number of Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country will increase to 1247", Union Education Minister Pokhriyal tweeted.
