Eligibility for B.Arch relaxed for admission session 2021-22: Education Minister

Union Education Minister on Friday said that the admission eligibility for the B.Arch course has been relaxed for the academic session 2021-22. The condition of obtaining 50 percent marks in PCM is relaxed for admission to B.Arch degree course.

Admission Eligibility for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree course has been relaxed for the current academic session, announces Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal on Friday.

According to the Union Minister, the decision is taken in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the revised schedule, the minimum requirement of 50 per cent marks in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics has been relaxed and candidates only qualifying the 10+2 with PCM subjects or 10+3 Diploma with Maths will be eligible for B.Arch admissions.

"In view of the COVID-19 admission eligibility for B.Arch. Degree Course has been relaxed for academic session 2021-2022. Min requirement of 50% in PCM & aggregate of 10+2 is relaxed to only pass in 12th Class with PCM subjects/10+3 Diploma with Mathematics", tweeted Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal.
