The Department of Higher Education, Haryana (DHE Haryana) will release the 1st merit list 2021 tomorrow, on September 11, 2021. The first merit list will be displayed on the official website dheadmissions.nic.in by all participating colleges of Haryana. Aspirants who have registered for the Haryana College Admissions 2021-22 can check the college-wise 1st merit list from the admission portal. The admissions under the first merit list will take place from September 11 to 15, 2021.
The admission merit list will comprise key details including candidates' names (provisionally selected), with course/ stream allotted, and percentage of marks released by the college. The candidates whose name appears in the merit list have to ensure that their marks match the criteria. Those who are listed in the first list have to submit the admission fee by the last date of admission.
Once the admission close, candidates will not be provided with a further chance. However, these students may compete for leftover seats under open counselling.
The first merit list was supposed to be released on September 02, 2021. Later it was shifted to September 09, and then finally September 11, 2021 (Saturday). Haryana college admission 2021-22 process has been delayed due to the late declaration of the Class 10+2 board results.
The first merit list will be facilitated on September 11, 2021, at the 'Online Admission Portal' of the Department of Higher Education, Haryana i.e. dheadmissions.nic.in.
After the appearance of the name of the student in the 1st merit list, he/she will have to make the payment of admission charges/fees by September 15. The students will be initially given provisional admission only, subject to the verification of their documents by the college/ affiliated university.
According to the data available at the admission portal, as many as 1,84,501 candidates have registered for the Haryana College admissions 2021-22. A detailed merit list will be released by all participating degree colleges from different districts of Haryana.
Among the required documents, candidates have to produce only the scanned copies of the documents along with the admission form. The physical presence of the candidate is not required during the whole admission process. The scanned copies of the following original documents should be submitted online by the candidates:
Note- General category students who have opted for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) reservation within state quota and All India quota as per government norms, have to upload the EWS certificate).
If any document of a student is rejected due to some reasons during the process of online verification, an SMS will be sent to the applicant and the applicant will be required to make necessary corrections on the online admission portal by logging in to his/her account within the prescribed time period.
There will be a total of two merit lists, followed by online open counseling. According to the revised schedule, the 2nd merit list will be released on September 17, 2021. The admission portal for open counselling for leftover seats will open on September 22.
